lazy, yet classy

don't know if any of you numb nuts are checking this out anymore but this was the final product for that lazy susan.  never mind the dust and the work boots in the background and behold it's beauty.  bronze inlays on clear alder stained a black/brown.

lazy lazy susans

high roller lazy susan.  it will be 2ft in diameter and have one inch bronze inlays.  the wood will be ebonized alder and i might patina the bronze.  after the last talk with the client we took this direction.  before she wanted a damask pattern but it started getting just a little too much.  she has a black and bronze kitchen so i think this should mesh well.  simple but more fun than just a standard one.  tell me what you all thinks.

natural edge table

this is the a table that i'm doing.  yes it is not the best jpeg quality but deal with it anyways.  the top is going to have a natural edge and am looking for a whole piece that will bend at the angle needed.  it is going to go in a corner and i think that it will end up being two pieces joined together.  the legs will be stacked and then carved . . . ooooohhh.  i think i can say it should look amazing.  i have been trying to convince the client to go with a slab top with rounded edges but no luck yet.  the woods being debated upon are high figured babinga, black walnut, or cocobolo.  suggestions, comments, give them to me now.  and who is in michigan and why?

homepage and card

so i think these are going to look funny on the page but i am too lazy to fix it.  the webpage should be up and running in about a week.  thanks to spencers for his help and font, jimbo i'm sure that you noticed that i went without the backwards f.  i thought it was still a little confusing but kind of wish i used it aways.

hush hush poopy poopy

i guess i'm the only one who's going to use this thing, cause you're all bitches.

so this is a kid's study desk that i have been doing for a certain company whose logo is a red bullseye. the photo is the final version, after all their requested changes, and the rest are the original options. they are already working on it, so i guess i can show you all this business; although some VP bum-ponkler over there put the project on hold... and know you know what i do every day.

"I hate to tell you guys but, if you get to the pearly gates and this is the music that is playing, you're not in heaven"

junior bacon's babies

it appears that we have not yet got our pickles aligned to put anything on here, so i will start us off with some watches. i realize jeckob probably owns all these already, but for the rest of us ridiculous watches are still cool. the gold half-watch down there costs $233,900. the one near the bottom with the face going parallel with the band is by Bugatti. the idea is when you're driving 250 mph you can't turn your wrist to see the time, instead you see it while holding the steering wheel. excellent.

the only thing that ever needs be designed

i realize that now we should probably just shut down this blog, because This was the only thing left on God's green earth that needed to be done, and some dude already did it.

but, since the web address sean conceived for this site was so miraculous, we'll continue on with the rest of our lives, making things and posting pictures of them here
