lazy lazy susans

high roller lazy susan.  it will be 2ft in diameter and have one inch bronze inlays.  the wood will be ebonized alder and i might patina the bronze.  after the last talk with the client we took this direction.  before she wanted a damask pattern but it started getting just a little too much.  she has a black and bronze kitchen so i think this should mesh well.  simple but more fun than just a standard one.  tell me what you all thinks.

natural edge table

this is the a table that i'm doing.  yes it is not the best jpeg quality but deal with it anyways.  the top is going to have a natural edge and am looking for a whole piece that will bend at the angle needed.  it is going to go in a corner and i think that it will end up being two pieces joined together.  the legs will be stacked and then carved . . . ooooohhh.  i think i can say it should look amazing.  i have been trying to convince the client to go with a slab top with rounded edges but no luck yet.  the woods being debated upon are high figured babinga, black walnut, or cocobolo.  suggestions, comments, give them to me now.  and who is in michigan and why?
